Fastest Way to Heal Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a common curse among people who make a living on the computer.

It can start off as numbness, tingling or slight pain sensation in your arm(s). People who suffer from carpal tunnel are those who do any kind repetitive movement with their hands; most often, computer and office workers.

The common tools and tips offered for carpal tunnel condition are wrist braces, changing your posture, taking frequent breaks and ergonomic computer peripherals. These can all offer some alleviation of course, but once you've done enough damage to your hands, they won't heal you permanently, or even take the pain away. (Mind you, your posture makes a huge difference and your monitor should be at the eye level, where you are not bending your neck up or down when looking at the monitor.)

After ten years of steady, grinding computer work, my carpal tunnel was at the point that nothing helped. I tried it all. My pain was so terrible that I'd wake up in the middle of the night in severe agony. Ice packs helped temporarily, but there's only so much icing you can do in a day. I also wore wrist support braces, took frequent breaks, alternated my mouse hand, ordered fancy ergonomic gadgets, changed to an anti-inflammatory diet, etc.

It wasn't until I discovered proteolytic enzymes, that I was able to cure my condition almost 100% and get rid of the pain altogether.

How Proteolytic Enzymes Heal Carpal Tunnel Damage

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a state of chronic inflammation that eventually leads to damaged arteries, joints and tissues.

Proteolytic enzymes consumed internally (to an empty stomach) break down the damaged proteins in your body that have caused the inflammation, assisting with repair of the damaged nerves and tissues; rapidly speeding the recovery process. They also reduce bruising and swelling, reduce joint discomfort, and help increase circulation, all of which leads to a faster recovery in any inflammatory condition.

(Professional athletes have been taking proteolytic enzymes for years to heal from sport injuries faster.)

How Long Should You Take Them For?

Repairing damaged tissue takes anywhere from 72 hours to six weeks, depending on how severe the damage you are dealing with is. I took Repair Gold Enzymes (from Enzymedica) for about 3 months initially, twice a day, to reduce the pain and promote recovery. Once my carpal tunnel was under control, I continued taking the enzymes on as-needed-basis. I also took Serratiopeptidase (one a day) to reduce the inflammation faster.

It would be smart to continue taking the enzymes for a bit longer even after your pain is gone, to assure that the injury has been fully repaired.

Naturally, you want to rest more and work less while recovering.

In Summary..

Rather than taking toxic painkillers and pharmaceuticals that do nothing to repair the body, but only mask the symptoms, proteolytic enzymes support the body's ability to heal itself, reducing the signs and symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. They are vegan (from plant sources) and do not intervene with any existing medications and, according to my experience, only have positive side effects (such as improving my overall health, digestion and skin tone).

p.s I have no sweet deals with any of the aforementioned enzyme producers. I have to say Enzymedica offers the best quality enzymes I have been able to find anywhere in the world and Tom Bohagen, the doctor and owner of the company, offers great advise and support. He is also one of the leading researchers in enzyme therapy.
